Site work and paving for a civil project in Greenwood, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work, in general, will include the items listed below: Stripping, excavating, culvert extensions, shaping, compacting, topsoil, seeding, erosion mat, mulch, riprap, shouldering, traffic control, and erosion control along an approximately 2,400 foot stretch on both sides of the roadway. The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date of opening. The Town of Foster reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
