This is renovations to their existing 7,500 SF standalone gym. This will include new sidewalks and canopy on the exterior and slab pour back, new MEPs, new finishes, bleachers and athletic equipment inside. Construction will begin in January 2025 with a 6 month schedule ending in July 2025. Bid forms will be released at least 1 week before bid day. In general, the project consists of LEO ORR GYM RESTORATIONS which includes but is not limited to: dirt work, utility work, piers, concrete slab repairs, steel studs and drywall, steel doors and frames, translucent panel windows, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Interior finishes include but are not limited to: steel studs and drywall, resilient flooring, ceramic tile, wood gym floor, paint, acoustical ceiling, fire extinguishers and cabinets, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, identifying devices and bleachers. CONTRACT Proposals will be based on a single lump-sum contract for individual work category or selected groups of categories as listed in Instructions to Proposers. C. Guaranty Bonds 1. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond may be required from any subcontractor whose proposal is in excess of $100,000 at the option of the Construction Manager.
