Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Grafton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
** As of January 14, 2025, project was awarded to Aqua Line Utility, Inc. but awarded amount is not available.** Bids from a qualified firm to furnish Construction Services Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in acceptable form as outlined in the specifications in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. A labor and materials payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required. Wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under M.G.L. Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D shall prevail on this project. The Board of Selectmen reserves the Right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part and to accept the bid it deems to be in the best interest of the Town pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30B. Prospective bidders are required to submit all questions to the Engineer by Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. Any questions received after this time will not be considered for review by the Town or the Engineer.
