Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Landis, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
o Demolish and replace sidewalk and curb along East side of South Central Avenue from East Ryder Avenue to Fifth Third Bank, exact location at Bank will be marked. o Curb and gutter elevations be adjusted to meet ADA guidelines for new sidewalk. o New sidewalk to be poured at 4" thick between new curb and existing buildings. o Driveway entrances to be poured at 6" thick o 3 handicap ramps at existing locations need to be replaced and brought up to ADA guidelines. o Replace/repair one stormwater catch basin and grate. o Demolish existing pavement parking area on East side of South Central Avenue and pour 18' concrete apron. o Apron should be replaced with 4" of ABC and 6" of 6,000psi concrete. o Stripe parking areas to match the existing layout. o Demolition to be performed after business hours or at night. o 3 mobilizations to reduce impact for businesses o Provide all equipment, labor, and materials Present to the Town Council........Monday, January 13, 2025 The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities therein. Proposals must be clearly marked South Central Sidewalks and submitted. No submissions or supporting documents will be accepted after this deadline.
