Renovation of a mixed-use development in Oswego, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 54,000-square-foot educational facility.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The Owner will receive bids for the construction of concrete flatwork. The Work will include: Removal and replacement of concrete flat work at the following schools: Churchill Elementary. Plank Junior High, Boulder Hill Elementary, Long Beach Elementary, Prairie Point Elementary, and East View Academy. Approximate square footage over the six sites is 54,000 SF. BASIS OF BIDS: Bids will be a single contract, stipulated sum. BID SECURITY: A Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid is required. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any errors, omissions or irregularities in the bids or the bidding procedure when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve its best interests. Any bid which is not accompanied by the required bid security or by any other documents or certifications required by the Bidding Documents, and any bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection at the sole discretion of the Owner. TIME OF COMPLETION: The Work will commence on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, and be performed such that the Project will be Substantially Complete as indicated in the Document 00 31 13-Preliminary Schedule.
