Site work and paving for a road / highway in Thompson Falls, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of milling and paving a two-inch asphalt overlay on all paved surfaces in the project area, generally consisting of non-state routes in Thompson Falls, and seal coating new asphalt. The project also consists of an alternative schedule of a two inch asphalt overlay with a tapered graveled shoulder. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to City of Thompson Falls, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted in writing to and must be received by Great West Engineering no later than 1:00 PM local time on December 2nd, 2024.
