As of November 20, 2025, per owner, engineering firm identified. The General Contractor has not been selected. Construction start date is tentatively set for late 2026. Washington County, Missouri requests statements of qualifications for engineering services to assist in its emergency bridge replacement project. The county's project will be partially funded through the Delta Regional Authority SEDAP program. The county will require plans and specifications for the proposed project and construction inspection once it is under contract. The project consists of constructing two concrete culverts on Hamilton Hollow Road in Washington County, Missouri. Information provided to the commission must include at a minimum: (a) The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to bridge design or related work (Relative Importance: Medium); (b) The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within a period of 18 months, (Relative Importance: High); (c) The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, flexibility in payments, ability to meet tight schedules (Relative Importance: High); (d) The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located (Relative Importance: Low); and (e) References from all previous clients involved with the firm within the past five years on similar projects, specifically federally funded projects; (Relative Importance: Medium); (f) Documentation of compliance with E-Verify requirements. The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost will be negotiated for design and inspection.
