Site work for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 3039M and other procurement statutes. The City through its Department of Capital Assets and Construction is seeking bids for the redevelopment of Richard E. Neal Park to include the removal of existing site elements, and improvements to other areas. Improvements to include new basketball court, shade pavilion, playground, spray pad, volleyball court, other site amenities, and installation of owner-supplied modular restroom facility. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City (nwalker@ springfieldcityhall.com) by close of business on February 21, 2025 in order to be considered. The City of Springfield goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 02/26/2025 at 5:00PM EST for general bids
