The City of Springfield (The "Owner") is seeking the services of a qualified "Owners Project Manager" (OPM) as defined in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 44A 1/2 (C) and as further defined by provisions stated in the RFS to provide Project Management Services for the design, construction, addition to and /or renovation of the German Gerena Elementary School, located at 200 Bernie Avenue in Springfield, Massachusetts. The City of Springfield is requesting the services of an OPM to represent to Owner during the feasibility study phase of the contract, which may be amended to include continued Project Management Services through design development, construction documents, bid and award, construction and final closeout of the potential Project. The estimated total project costs of an approved Proposed Project may range from $120,000,000 to $140,000,000 depending upon the solution agreed upon by the Owner and the MSBA and ultimately approved by a vote of the MSBA Board of Directors All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 13 at 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
