The City of Wauwatosa is seeking formal sealed proposals from qualified water main material vendors to provide pricing for various water main materials including valves, water main fittings, hydrants and related incidental items. Selected vendor shall provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment to procure materials, store materials, and deliver materials in accordance with the City of Wauwatosa Request for Proposal. Note: The City's email system WILL NOT ACCEPT FILES LARGER THAN 10MB . If your proposal response exceeds that limit, please provide your submission via a digital drop box or FTP of your choosing and provide online instructions in your submission email. Questions on RFP Due: Wednesday, December 4, 2024 by 12:00 PM Answers to Questions to RFP Holders: Monday, December 9, 2024 by 1:00 PM No proposal shall be withdrawn after the opening of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of closing of proposals. Notification of Award: It is the intent to award to the overall lowest bidder. The City of Wauwatosa reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, or, at its option, may select the proposal deemed to be the most responsive in the best interests of the City. Proposer certifies that their proposal has been made without connection to any other vendor and is, in all respects, fair and without collusion or fraud, and is made with the understanding that no elected official or Wauwatosa City employee has an interest, directly or indirectly, unless otherwise stated. The City of Wauwatosa reserves the right to negotiate specifications, terms and conditions which may be necessary or appropriate to the accomplishment of the purpose of this RFP. No proposals, alterations, or modifications to proposals shall be allowed after the official date of submission. PATENTED DEVICES, EQUIPMENT AND PROCESSES: It is understood and agreed that without exception, bid prices include all royalties and costs arising from patents, trademarks, and copyrights. The successful bidder shall, in all cases, indemnify and save harmless the City of Wauwatosa from any and all claims for infringement by reason of the use of any such patented design, device, material, or process to be used or delivered, and shall indemnify the said City of Wauwatosa for any cost, expense, and damage which it may be obliged to pay by reason of such infringement, at any time during or after delivery. Vendors are not permitted to contact City Council members or other City Staff for clarification of the RFP.
