Renovation of a municipal facility in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Glastonbury (the "Town") is requesting proposals from licensed, qualified general contractors for roof replacement at 50 NYE ROAD Building, (the "Project") located at 50 Nye Road, Glastonbury, CT 06033 (the "Premises"). Bidders shall comply with State mandated laws, Equal Opportunity Employment Practices, and Safety and Health Regulations. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bonds and 100% Performance Bond in the full amount of the agreed contract price. The project is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act ("ARPA") and the bidder is bound by all applicable and required ARPA provisions. See Form of Contract for Construction. Bidders are further advised that this project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-53.
