Renovation of a residential development in Mount Vernon, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
consisting of modifications related to roof replacement. A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the Housing Authority, or satisfactory bond executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Specifications, or other form acceptable to HUD and the LHA, and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority. Docs notes : Prime Contractors may purchase additional sets and subcontractors and material suppliers may purchase sets of the which is $75.00 per set. This is not refundable. No partial sets will be issued. Shipping charges are in addition to deposit. Checks shall be made payable to the Mount Vernon Housing Authority. Documents may also be obtained from the Architect electronically in a .pdf format, for which a deposit will not be required. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
