Renovation of the Norma Johnson Center Red Barn For the Tuscarawas County Park Department Renovation of the Norma Johnson Center Red Barn located at 3645 Conservation Drive NW, Dover, Ohio 44622, The estimated construction budget is expected to be approximately $600,000.00. Starting November 22, 2024, Construction Documents may be requested to be sent out electronically at no cost from the office of John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc. The projected construction schedule has the project starting approximately January 27, 2025 and being substantially completed in October of 2025. Each bid must include a bid guaranty in the form of a bid guaranty and contract bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add Alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add Alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is a Federally funded project utilizing ARPA funds and therefore, all Federal regulations will apply. The work performed under this contract is also subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions including the payment of prevailing wage rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The contract delivery method will be a single general contract including general, civil, electrical and fire alarm construction. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening. The Tuscarawas County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities in bids, reject any or all bids and conduct investigations to determine bidder responsibility.
