Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Rio Vista, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; residential development; and residential development.
Submit your bid with bidder's security equal to at least 10 % ofthe bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor shall possess a valid business license. Prevailing wages are required on this contract. The Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations determines the general prevailing wage rates. There is no DBE requirement for this project. Work must be completed within NINETY-SIX construction working days. Construction working day count will begin on May 1st, 2025. The award of the contract will be determined by the best value procurement method whose bid complies with all the requirements prescribed. The Bid Proposal, as well as a presentation/interview, will be used as part ofthe evaluation process. Solano County is inviting the submission of bids from qualified design-build entities, referred to here as Contractor, to provide comprehensive design-build services for two distinct projects. Both projects will include the completion of site plans, specifications, and quantities. Design services will include electrical calculations, geotechnical boring and reports, grounding plans, structural calculations, and the permit submission to Solano County Building Department, City of Benicia Building Department, and the City of Rio Vista Fire, Water, and Wastewater Departments. HAZMAT reports are required, and Asbestos and Lead plans created. The Department of information Technology (DOIT) Benicia Shelter Project in Benicia, CA includes site preparation, utility work, grading, and placement of a pre-purchased equipment shelter for information technology facilities. The Benicia DOIT Shelter Project must complete construction prior to groundbreaking on the Rio Vista Yard Improvement Project Phase 2. The Rio Vista Corporation Yard Project Phase 2 located in Rio Vista, CA involves the demolition of an existing metal building, fabrication and construction of a prefabricated metal building, utility work, grading, retaining walls, fence construction, and perimeter lighting. The selected Design-Build Entity will be responsible for completing the design process, constructing the projects, and overseeing the entire construction process for both projects to ensure their successful completion.
