Contractor shall provide materials (clean precast or recycled concrete) barging, and deployment of materials on the specified reef sites. 1. Material shall reasonably consist of nothing smaller than 3 cubic feet. Larger material is preferred, within the parameters to transport and deploy. 2. The Bidder shall provide a description of the proposed artificial reef material on the Proposal Pages of this RFP. 3. All material will be inspected, and must be approved by the NJDEP-ARP prior to delivery. The Contractor must submit evidence of approval to the University, and receive permission from the University before proceeding with deployment. The final selected deployment location(s) will be within 1.5 nautical miles (nm) of the coordinates provided within this RFP. Stockton University and the NJDEP-ARP will be on site to observe proper geolocation of the materials (on their own vessels). The NJDEP-AR staff will mark the center point of the deployment, and instruct the Contractor how to place the material on site (such as stack, circular pattern, etc., within reason). The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to award in whole or in part, or to one or multiple Bidders, if deemed to be most advantageous to the University, price, and other factors considered. The University reserves the right to have the Contractor modify information supplied on quotes, or invoices in order to process orders and ensure contractual pricing is being followed.
