sealed bids will be received by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Lodi, Bergen County, New Jersey, for the COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE, VEGETATIVE WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS. Drawings, specifications and forms of bids, contract and bond for proposed work, prepared by the Borough of Lodi, will be on file at the office of the Borough Clerk, One Memorial Drive, Lodi, New Jersey on TUESDAY DECEMBER 10, 2024 and may be examined at no expense by prospective bidders during business hours. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated herein and required by the Specifications, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bier and name of the project on the outside addressed to Mayor and Council Borough of Lodi Bergen County NJ. and must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, provided said check need not be more than $20,000 and a consent of surety from a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of New Jersey in a sum equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the amount bid, and be delivered at the date stated on or before the hour named above. In the event the successful bidder shall fail to furnish the aforesaid surety the check and the amount represented in the bid bond will be forfeited to the Borough of Lodi as liquidated damages. The Standard Proposal Form and the non-collusion affidavit are attached to the Specifications, copies of which will be furnished on application to the Borough of Lodi. The Contractor will comply with all rules and regulations and orders promulgated by the State Treasurer pursuant to PL. 1975, c. 127., and with all provisions 0fN.J.S.A. 11.2- 1through 11 :2-4 and all rules and regulations promulgated there under, the provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal. The Borough of Lodi reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder
