Install two Cat6A Ethernet connections in all classrooms to support high-speed networking. Install OM4 multimode fiber optic cabling for backbone connectivity between MDF and IDF closets. Remove existing outdated cabling and replace it with new compliant cabling. Update switch configuration if necessary. All work is to be completed by December 15, 2025, or within 6 months of ERate funding approval by USAC unless otherwise agreed upon by the owner and winning bidder. For network cabling, fiber optic cabling, connection panels, racking, and installation at the following sites: 1. Brooks High School 2. Brooks Elementary School 3. Central High School 4. Lauderdale County High School 5. Lexington High School 6. Rogers High School 7. Waterloo High School 8. Board of Education District Office A certified check or bid bond payable to Lauderdale County Board of Education in the amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the contract. Complete bids will be privately evaluated and scored based on the pre-created rubric in keeping with ERate guidelines. Lauderdale County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
