**As of January 8 , 2025 , this project has been cancelled due but no definite date for the rebid.** The Project consists of the construction of a new five classroom addition to the existing Osborn Elementary School The proposed addition will be metal stud modular construction, one storied and approximately 7,887 gsf. There will be site improvements associated with this project and other work indicated in the Contract documents. There will be site improvements associated with this project and other work indicated in the Contract documents. 1. The scope of the Work of this project is as follows: a. Midland Elementary School: Furnish and installation of modular classrooms as detailed in the contract drawings. Work to include the following: - Excavation - Site Work - Foundation - Purchase and transportation of modular buildings and all associated MEP equipment - Installation - Exterior Facade - Roofing - Site built corridor connections - MEP/Utility connections to existing buildings - Fire Alarm Tie-In - HVAC startup - Controls - Exterior walkways 2. The Work will be performed at the following location: a. Osborn Elementary School located at 10 Osborn Rd, Rye, NY 10580. 3. TYPE OF CONTRACT The Work of this Project will be performed under a single Prime Contract. Each proposal must be accompanied by security in the amount of not less than 10 percent (10%) of the bid, in the form and subject to the conditions stipulated in the Information to Bidders. No Bidders shall withdraw his/her bid within forty-five days (45) after the formal opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in any proposals, or to reject any or all proposals and to advertise for new proposals. The accepted low bidder(s) will be required to furnish a One- Hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and produce all insurance in amounts not less than specified under the General Conditions and Special Provisions.
