Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Reisterstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The work shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions." The base bid shall include without limitation, labor, materials, bailing, shoring, removal, overhead, profit, insurance (including builder's risk insurance, if applicable) etc. The VSBE subcontracting participation goal for this Solicitation is: 5% Question Deadline 12/10/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All Questions must be submitted in writing to Kim Langkam, the Procurement Officer, and emailed to kimberly.langkam@maryland.gov Builder's Risk Insurance is NOT required for this project. Carefully review the Department of General Services' Instructions to Bidders for Construction Projects (July 2022) and General Conditions for Construction Contracts (July 2022) which are attached to this solicitation. The PROJECT CLASSIFICATION for this solicitation is: "E" ($2,500,000 - $5,000,000). The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Plan Holders List not maintained.
