Reference number: 20032497 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-12-18 As part of its efforts to comply with new CCPA standards, the Université de Montréal is launching a call for tenders to retain the services of a general contractor to expand rooms 4281-4282 of the animal facility in the Paul-G. Desmarais Pavilion. The work will include transforming laboratory 4291 into an animal facility, as well as refitting the existing animal facilities. The existing mobile cages will be replaced by larger, fixed cages and enclosures. A pre-purchase of enclosures, chutes and wall protection panels has been launched in advance, and the supplier contract associated with this pre-purchase will be assigned to the construction contractor selected as part of this call for tenders. Mechanical and electrical work will also be required. The work will take place during the day, in cohabitation with users who occupy the site on a continuous basis. Particular care will be required to minimize the impact of noise or vibrations on animals present in the area throughout the duration of the work. The work will be carried out in 3 phases.
