Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and water / sewer project.

General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope. New contractors with the county are required to submit a letter of insurability agreeing to these requirements. Escambia County may award Line item by Line item for emergency items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services. Contractor Selection Date: December 13, 2024 The rehabilitation of this owner-occupied, single-family, residence is to make the home safer, more energy efficient, and easier to access within the provisions of federal, state, and county laws and ordinances and the SHIP repair program. The rehabilitation of this home will include the following tasks as outlined below and the repaired areas are to match as close as possible to their existing surroundings. If additional tasks beyond those included in this scope are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated. Before any additional work is performed, written county approval will be needed. There is no federal funding for this project. Decommission the existing OSTDS system, per the State of Florida Environmental Health Department regulation/requirements. Replace septic system as per the Escambia County Environmental Health Code specifications. Following the repair of the septic system, grade area and leave in a uniform/smooth condition, then provide grass seed and straw for stabilization. All damage to the yard (created by trucks and other equipment used to accomplish work herein), is to be filled to grade with topsoil and seed and straw installed. If it is necessary to remove any part of the fence or landscaping, it will be restored to existing condition prior to repairs. Contractor will return one time after substantial completion of work during the warranty period if areas settle to re-grade and seed. Tie-in the sink drains to new system, extend soil pipe to above the roof line and attach to dwelling as required. The tank is NOT certifiable.
