The City of Pensacola is requesting sealed statements of interest and qualifications from companies with experience in landscape installation and maintenance services for a three (3) year contract term with provisions for two (2) one-year extensions upon mutual agreement of the Contractor and City. Work may continue under the contracts until all projects assigned have been completed, at the discretion of the City. January 9, 2025, 9:00 a.m. City Hall 6th floor conference room 222 West Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502 Evaluation Committee Meeting Ranking / Shortlisting Qualifications January 21, 2025, 9:00 a.m. City Hall 1st floor conference room 222 West Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502 Evaluation Committee Meeting Oral Presentations Recommendation of Continuing Services Contract Awards The purpose of this RFQ is to identify multiple highly qualified companies who can provide exceptional high quality landscape installation and maintenance services for city and/or CRA owned and maintained areas. Contracts offered through this RFQ process are intended to augment City of Pensacola (City) staff in areas where additional expertise and work force are needed when workload will not permit the timely completion of landscape installation or maintenance. These contracts will allow the City to solicit proposals directly from the contractor for individual landscaping projects, or tasks, and to procure needed services without soliciting separate competitive proposals for every project or task. The City reserves the right to at any time solicit separate competitive proposals for any and all projects or tasks, regardless of fee or value. Selection by the City as a landscape installation/maintenance contractor does not guarantee that the contractor will be called on a regular basis during the contract term, nor does it guarantee a minimum level of compensation with respect to volume of work or fees. Respondents must be able to provide a Performance and Payment Bond. The bond shall be in a form and with a surety acceptable to the City and shall insure the full and faithful performance of the contractor of all terms and conditions of certain projects and stand as security for payment by the contractor of all valid claims by the City. Respondents mut be able to provide proof of their ability to provide this bond in the amount up to one million dollars ($1,000,000). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
