Site work for a water / sewer project in S Zanesville, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of 12/04/2024 This project has been cancelled. LUMP SUM BID for replacing approximately 1,200 linear feet of existing 18-inch and 15-inch sanitary sewer with 18-inch PVC sanitary sewer at depths varying from 19 feet to 5 feet and three manholes. The new sewer will be located in the same location as the existing sewer requiring the contractor to maintain sewer service throughout construction. All work to be completed is a specified in the construction specifications and as shown on the CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS. The cost estimate for this contract is $420,000. Each Bidder must submit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Muskingum County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or combination of bids which is deemed most favorable to the County at the time and under the conditions stipulated. The Commissioners further declare that they will award the contract for this project to the lowest and best bid, which may not necessarily be the lowest bid. No single factor will control the Board's decision to award, and the Board reserves the right to exercise its full discretion.
