Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in S Zanesville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Major rehabilitation of IR 70 through Zanesville. Removal/Replacement of existing concrete mainline and ramp pavement and deteriorated subgrade. Partial widening to allow for proper Maintenance of Traffic. Replacement of median barrier, lighting. ODOT will resurface I-70 between U.S. 40 and State Route 93, reconstruct entrance and exit ramps, and do work on 16 bridges. This project is expected to be completed in 4 phases. In the first phase, temporary pavement will be constructed to widen the outside shoulders in both eastbound and westbound directions. This will push all traffic outward so reconstruction can begin in the median and along the eastbound and westbound lane. Details regarding the scope of work for phase 1 have not been disclosed and information regarding the scope of work for individual future phases has not been released. As of October 15, 2021 construction is underway. Information regarding subcontractor opportunities has not been disclosed. This project is expected to take 6 years to complete.
