Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Libertyville, Illinois. Design plans call for the construction of a 35,000-square-foot, 30-space fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

As of April 17, 2025, per owner, design team has been approved by the Village Board. Design expected to take approximately 9 months. Construction expected to take 22 months. The scope of work is generally described as providing the Village with comprehensive architecture and design services to complete a design, prepare construction documents, assist with the public construction bid process, and provide construction engineering support services related to a new Police Station. The Mayor and Village Board of Trustees have determined that a new police station facility is necessary in order to conduct departmental operations for continued recruitment, retention and to modernize the layout to accommodate current operations. A facilities study was completed in 2022 and outlined the need for an approximate 35,000 square foot free standing building in order to accommodate these needs. The Village of Libertyville currently anticipates needing a +/- 35,000 SF building. The Project program includes the following: 1. Indoor Parking for 30 police vehicles 2. A modern firing range sized to allow for tactical training. 3. Additional capacity for future growth of sworn and civilian staff. 4. An Emergency Operations Center (EOC) / Multi-Purpose Room 5. A Defensive Tactics Training Room 6. Social Services Rooms / Offices The new police station facility will replace the existing station located at 200 E. Cook Avenue, LibertyRville,Illinois. The existing Police Station is planned to the demolished. The new building is assumed to include at least one above ground floor and a basement level.Plats of survey, topographic surveys, geotechnical reports, traffic and utility studies, environmental studies, and other similar information. will need to be completed for the Project site by the Owner.
