Competitive quotes for the removal of twenty (20) trees within the city limits of Hampton. All twenty (20) trees must be entirely removed with stumps cut flush to the existing ground height. Trees and brush must be hauled to the Hampton Compost and Brush site unless other arrangements are approved by the Hampton Public Works Director. All trees must be removed before 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025. Any damage to existing property caused by the removal of said trees will be the responsibility of the tree service provider to abate. Payment will be made once all trees have been removed. The tree service provider must be licensed with the City of Hampton. A tree removal list is available at Hampton City Hall, 122 1st Ave. NW, Hampton, Iowa. Any trees not removed by the deadline will prompt the city to assess liquidated damages in the amount of $100.00 per day.
