Tree Removal Project in Hampton Cemetery Liquidated Damages in the Amount of $150.00 Per Day Will Be Assessed to the Contractor for Incomplete Work After the April 30, 2025 Deadline. All Potential Damages to Cemetery Monuments, Decorations, Roads, and Other Trees Shall Be the Contractor's Responsibility to Make Whole. Contractor Must Be Licensed With the City of Hampton and Insured. All Stumps Shall Be Ground to No Less Than Six (6) Inches Below Existing Grade and No More Than Eight (8) Inches Below Existing Grade to Include Root Leads if Necessary, and Then Backfilled With Quality Black Dirt Back to Existing Grade. Contractor Work Scheduling Must Be Verified and Approved by Cemetery Staff to Avoid Conflicts With Funeral Services.
