All general bidders shall furnish with their bid a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount for the Bid and made payable to the Town of Winchendon. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid which in their opinion, is in the public interest to do so. Background: Toy Town Elementary School is a two-story building heated by an oil-fired steam heating system. Steam is supplied to unit ventilators. The work consists of the installation of a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system in a portion of the classrooms, including indoor units, outdoor units, refrigerant and condensate piping, and associated controls.
