Madison County is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide a spare pump for Bo Howard Well, located in Madison County, Alabama. The Madison County Commission reserves the right to award this bid on an all-or-none or item by item basis, to refuse all bids, and to waive technicalities. Madison County is seeking bids for a spare pump, at the Bo Howard Well, 1390 Bo Howard Road, Madison County, Alabama. The pump will be used for potable water. All materials, lubricants, and coatings shall be approved for use with drinking water. The pump design conditions are 2,000 gallons per minute at 405ft total dynamic head, at 1800 revolutions per minute. The pump shall be water cooled with above ground discharge. The installation report for the existing pump is included in the appendices. (a) Scope of Services Fabricate new pump bowl assembly according to paragraph 2.1 and provide 60 feet of column piping and stuffing box according to paragraphs 2.2 and 2.3, respectively. Prepare and package material for long-term storage. The vendor will transport or ship to Mountain Fork Water Treatment Plant, 845 Mountain Fork Rd, New Market, AL 35761. The work shall be performed according to the conditions, technical specification and drawings provided in this bid package. All documents submitted to Madison County will be subject to Alabama's Open Records Laws (Code of Alabama, Title 36-12-40 and 41, as last amended).
