Site work for a civil project in Penticton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) is seeking the services of a General Contractor for the construction of a fishway channel around Okanagan Lake Dam that generally includes the following work components: Sheet piling and bracing. Fish passage channel construction, including riprap and gravel placement. One reinforced concrete vehicle bridge and various reinforced concrete works. One pedestrian bridge. Instream works at Okanagan Lake and Okanagan River including isolation, dewatering, timber structure removal, bank stabilization, and natural restoration. Horizontal directional drilling for electrical service. Installation of channel control and related works. Site restoration works. The estimated construction budget for this project is in the order of $3,000,000.
