Site work and paving for a civil project in West Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construct Sanitary Sewer System Improvements - East Trunk Sewer including all labor, materials and equipment necessary for approximately 2,766 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer installed in open cut, creek crossing, excavation, backfill, manholes, abandonment of existing lift station, surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup. The project is located south of Greenfield Parkway east of Clover Hill Drive. Each proposal shall be made out on a blank form furnished by the municipality and must be accompanied by bid security, as follows: a certified or cashier's check, drawn on a solvent Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, or a bid bond executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in the State of Iowa in a penal sum of ten percent (10%) of the bid. The work will commence within ten (10) days after written Notice to Proceed. All work on the project shall be completed by September 30, 2025. Damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per consecutive calendar day will be assessed for each day after September 30, 2025 with due allowance for extensions of the contract period due to conditions beyond the control of the Contractor.
