Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Approximately 400 feet of road reconstruction at the Des Moines Water Works Park Main Entrance, Gate 2. The project consists of pavement removal, excavation, subgrade preparation and treatment, granular subbase, furnishing and installing 8-inch thick portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement with approaches at side access roads, sidewalk at the intersection, and traffic control. Des Moines Water Works accepts responsibility for minor site restoration including seeding and granular surfacing. Est. Value: $ 210,000.00 If any prospective Bidder is in doubt as to the true meaning of any parts of the Contract, Bidder may request an interpretation from the Owner or Engineer. Any interpretation of the Contract will be made only by an Addendum duly mailed, delivered, or faxed to each prospective Bidder who received a set of plans and specifications from the Owner or Engineer.
