The project involves replacing approximately 12,480 LF of existing deficient and failing sanitary sewer lines with new PVC sanitary sewer lines. The project also includes installation of appurtenances including approximately 45 sewer manholes, 18 sewer cleanouts, and 1,700 SY of street pavement removal and replacement. The project area encompasses about 20 acres between Lower Road and Kennecot Road, north of Morris Road (AZ SR-177) in Hayden, AZ (see Figure 1). The existing sewer line replacements will take place within the existing street right-ofway corridors. The Town has seen numerous sewer line breaks and manhole collapses, and these old sewer lines pose a health risk and have created high maintenance and repair costs for the Town. Small business, minority business, and women-owned business enterprises are encouraged to respond. Other firms submiting are encouraged to subconsult a portion of the project to small, MBE, and/or WBE firms.
