Project Name: NPS Longfellow Middle School Improvements 1. Longfellow Middle School : 215 North Ponca Avenue, Norman , Oklahoma 73071. A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Special Conditions and Division 1 are hereby made a part of each of the technical sections that follow, and shall be understood to apply in full to all individuals or corporations who contract or sub-contract to perform any part or all of the project work. B. The Drawings and Specifications are complementary. Indications on the working drawings or in any section of the specifications of an article or material, operation or method requires that the contractor shall provide each item or service or quality or is subject to qualifications noted; and, the contractor shall perform each operation prescribed according to the conditions stated providing, therefore, all necessary labor, equipment and incidentals to complete the project work. C. In the case of a conflict between the Drawings and the Specifications, the more restrictive and/or expensive of the two shall take precedence. Contractor shall notify the Architect of any conflict before proceeding with the work. After the bid letting, the successful sub-contractor shall submit in duplicate, manufacturer's color charts for all items requiring the architect's decision concerning colors, textures and patterns except for those materials where color, pattern, and texture are specified herein. The Architect will then prepare a finish material color schedule. A. Scope of demolition and removal work is indicated on drawings and specified in Section 02 4100. B. Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. C. The scope of the work includes all work included in the Base Bid and such additional work as may be properly authorized by the Owner through issuance of addenda, field orders, and change orders; or acceptance of Alternates or unit prices. D. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, accessories, equipment, and incidentals required to complete all work specified or reasonably implied therein, as falling within the Scope of Work on this project. E. If Add Alternate #6 is awarded, contractor shall remove and store existing washer and dryer. Reinstall existing washer and dryer and provide new hook-ups and required utilities as described here and shown on the drawings. A. Norman Public Schools intends to continue to occupy adjacent portions of the existing building during the entire construction period. B.
