The City of Rexburg (CITY) will accept Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from licensed architects to provide professional architectural, engineering and planning services to the CITY, in good standing, to perform services in accordance with Idaho Code 67-2320, and as determined by CITY. CITY is planning the construction of a new police station facility. The current estimated construction budget is between $10 to $17 million. Pre-construction services shall begin immediately following contract execution. The CITY anticipates the need to take the project to the public for a General Obligation (GO) bond vote. If a GO bond vote passes or the CITY can determine and secure alternative funding, then the CITY will enter the construction phase of the project, and the construction of the project is anticipated to begin as soon as the Summer of 2026 with substantial completion within 18 months once construction begins. Each SOQ will be evaluated on the basis of qualifications as specified in the RFQ.
