Renovation of an educational facility in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project includes the modernization/remodel of an existing kindergarten building, and the fabrication and installation of slab on grade modular buildings, including associated sitework, site utilities, and landscaping. All forms must be completed, signed, and returned with the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. A Payment Bond for contracts over $25,000 and a Performance Bond for all contracts will be required prior to commencement of work. These bonds shall be in the amounts and form called for in the Contract Documents. A bid package will not be accepted from any bidder that is required to submit a completed questionnaire and supporting documents pursuant to AB 1565, but has not done so at least ten (10) business days prior to the date fixed for the public opening of sealed bids or that has not been prequalified for at least five (5) business days prior to that date.
