The City of Clear Lake Shores is now accepting sealed proposals for landscape maintenance services. The City of Clear Lake Shores is located along Marina Bay Blvd/FM 2094 between SH146 and Admiralty Way (Waterford Harbor). Its offices are in City Hall, which also houses the Police Department, and a Clubhouse accessed by Clear Lake Road at Marina Bay/FM 2094. The City has a total land area of 0.5 square miles. Locations consist of: 1. Town Center -Marina Bay Drive (FM2094)/Clear Lake Rd 2. Bridge Area -Clear Lake Road to S. Shore Dr 3. City Hall -1006 S. Shore Drive 4. City Hall -back parking lot 5. Clubhouse -931 Cedar 6. City Pool -815 Birch Road 7. City Pavilion -815 Birch Road (adjacent to Pool) 8. Jennie Marie Park (also known as Triangle Park) -located at E. Shore and Ivy 9. Jarbo Park -located at 815 Birch Road adjacent to the Pavilion 10. Grove Park -908 Grove 11.Deep Hole Park -E. Shore Drive 12. Lowell Brown Fishing Pier & Sundial Park -located at N. Shore Dr between Juniper Rd. & Maple Rd. 13. Shell Bottom Park (Boat Ramp) -located along E. Shore Dr. 14.Median along FM2094 Questions concerning this Request for Proposal must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on December 16, 2024. All questions should be emailed to Cheryl Hunter, Finance Director, at chunter@clearlakeshores-tx.gov. All proposals must include a statement that they are valid for a minimum of ninety (90) days following the RFP closing date. Proposals may not be withdrawn or canceled without the permission of the City of Clear Lake Shores for ninety (90) days following the date designated for the receipt of the bid. The service contract shall be effective on February 1, 2025, and shall be renewable for up to three consecutive annual terms unless terminated by either party with a minimum of sixty (60) days advance notice via certified U.S. Mail. Changes in monthly compensation shall be negotiated no more than once annually (unless there is a change in the scope of work) and shall be agreed upon no later than July 31 of each year to become effective at the beginning of the fiscal year on October 1. The City of Clear Lake Shores reserves the right to accept or reject all proposals and to waive informalities or defects in the responses as the City of Clear Lake Shores shall deem to be in its best interest.
