CONSTRUCTION OF NEW MCMS EDISON MAGNET SCHOOL 2600 WOODBRIDGE AVENUE, EDISON, NEW JERSEY The proposed MCMS Edison Magnet School is an approximately 78,500 sf new 9-12 vocational high school for the Middlesex County Magnet Schools to house expansion of the Career and Technical Education Program with a focus on sustainable construction & environmental engineering, global logistics - Robotics & Drone technology, communications & cybersecurity technology, biotechnology & plant science, and sustainable energy technology. The building consists of two sections, Building AB and Building C. Building AB is an approximately 41,800 SF free standing structure housing the career and technical education curriculum and collaborative spaces. Building C consists of approximately 2,500 sf of structure demolition, 9,700 sf of interior alterations, and an approximately 21,000 sf two story addition housing general classroom spaces, main office functions, and cafeteria / food service area. The two buildings will be connected by a central entrance and circulation structure. The Bidder hereby affirms that all Work embodied within this Contract will be Substantially Complete as described below. The Contractor is advised that work on the Projectsite is not expected to commence prior to March 1, 2025.
