The Ontario Tech University (the "Institution") is seeking proposals for professional solar installers to furnish and install an operational solar photovoltaic system at 285 Britannia Ave W, Oshawa Question Deadline 12/13/2024 Proponents are required to submit electronically all questions and other communications regarding the RFP Documents, the RFP Process and their Proposals in writing to the Authorized Representative named in the RFP through the procurement website The Proponent shall be responsible for furnishing and installing an operational solar photovoltaic system. The Proponent will be responsible for installing racking, modules, inverters, wiring and raceways and the balance of system The Proponent will supply and install all solar PV racking as outlined in the attached drawings and specifications. Screw Piles to be galvanized option. The racking to be installed with helical piles as foundations per racking manufacturers specifications. The Proponent is to install a 3/4 " buried conduit from the adjacent barn to the combiner panels for network cabling. Network cabling by others The Proponent will be responsible for coordinating with local utilities for grid tie in. The project has been engineered (electrically), and Connection Impact Assessment (CIA) has been submitted and approved by Oshawa PUC for a threshold that includes sufficient capacity to accept this building PV System as embedded generation. The Proponent will be responsible for providing Megger Insulation Resistance Testing and Open Circuit Voltage test results and to work with the Solar Engineer to complete COVER testing. Institution supplied equipment includes the following: Solar PV panels, Micro inverters with interconnects, combiner panels, disconnects, and distribution breakers. Completion of all permitting applications (e.g. building, electrical installation, and development), and coordination of inspections, in order to comply with local regulations and codes. Provide training and/or operation and maintenance manuals. Provide any additional workmanship and equipment warranties (beyond manufacturer warranty). Provide any necessary surveys or approvals that the project may require (e.g. environmental assessments, etc.). Provide Institution with all final schematics and drawings (single line drawings/ as-builts). Estimated Commencement Date: January 6, 2025 Total Completion Date: March 21, 2025
