Pukalani Terrace Subdivision Pavement Reconstruction The project involves pavement reconstruction of various roads in the Pukalani Terrace Subdivision. The scope of work includes roadway excavation, paving, pavement striping and markers, adjusting of manholes and water valves, and other incidental items. To be eligible to bid, bidders must be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors. The County of Maui, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252) and the Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations Part 21) issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability.
