The Work consists of the following: Removal of the existing Ethylene-Propylene-DieneMonomer (EPDM) Roofing membrane, adhesive and insulation down to the steel decking that is to remain. Once the existing steel deck is cleaned and pred, the project will install R-30 Minimum thermal insulation with membrane manufacturer's insulation adhesive to a new vapor barrier over the existing steel deck. A 1/2" coverboard with membrane manufacturer's adhesive will be installed over the insulation and lastly a fully-adhered single ply membrane roofing system will be installed. The scope will involve removal and reinstallation of metal flashing, roof drains and expansion joint covers. All of the above-described summary of Work shall take place at Benton Elementary School located at 1410 Hinkson Avenue, Columbia, Missouri.. E.
