The first is located in Wakulla County, Florida, and includes the first phase of construction of a gravity sewer system servicing the residential area known as Wildwood. Wildwood Septic-to-Sewer Phase I is located on Wildwood Drive approximately 1.7 miles east of the intersection of Coastal Highway and US 319. This phase will include construction of a duplex sanitary lift station, approximately 4,969 LF of 8" gravity sewer, 20 manholes, 550 LF of 6" force main, 430 LF of 4" force main, and service to approximately 29 existing homes and 2 vacant parcels. The 6" force main will connect to an existing 20" PVC force main on the south side of Coastal Highway via a hot-tap. Work at existing homes will be a complete plumbing connection and demolition of existing septic tanks per Health Department rules. Restoration work will include paving impacted roads per FDOT Specifications, drainage improvements, and complete restoration of impacted areas within the project site. o The second project is located in Wakulla County, Florida, and includes the decommissioning of Wakulla Middle School Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP). The school will be connected to the gravity sewer collection system rendering the WWTP unnecessary. Structures on the site will be demolished and backfilled per the plans and the site will be restored by grading and sodding. The contractorshall be prepared to meet requirements for construction work on school property. The construction funding available for each project is as follows: o Wildwood Phase I is $1,595,061.00. o Wakulla Middle School Waste Water Treatment Plant Decommissioning is $535,371.00 Questions Due from Prospective Bidder November 25, 2024 @ 5:00 P.M.
