VAPA Theater Improvements Estimated Date for Award of Contract - January 23, 2025 The class(es) of California contractors license(s) required in order to bid on and perform the contract for this project is: CSLB Class B Contractor License. Each bidder shall also have no less than five (5) years experience in the magnitude and character of the work bid. Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, provide the performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates and other documents described in the contract documents. Such security must be in one of the following forms: (1) a cashier s check made payable to the district; The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the plans, specifications or other contract documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of the district by submission of a written request for an interpretation or correction to the district.
