Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Jamestown, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The County of Chautauqua is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering/planning firms to provide conceptual engineering, design, and cost estimates that will be necessary to finish the remaining portions of the Barcelona to Chautauqua Institution (B2CI) Multi-use Trail. This project has a maximum budget of $85,000. All costs for information gathering, report presentation, travel, postage, and other vendor costs and other expenses, shall be identified and included in the proposed fee. The objective of this project is to develop an updated conceptual design with cost estimates that are needed to efficiently and effectively complete the remaining unfinished segments of the trail, all at once. The approximate total distance of the B2CI Trail is 14 miles. Once completed, the trail will create a pedestrian connection between Lake Erie and Chautauqua Lake, be destination oriented, will attract both local and regional users, and will increase awareness of the benefits of local natural resources.
