Site work and paving for a civil project in Borden, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of the following construction work: Main Street from West St. to Daisy Hill Road. Length of the project - 0.295 miles Main Street from 501 E. Main to West St. Length of the project - 0.416 miles Main Street will be widened approximately 3 feet from 501 East Main Street to Brewer Drive and approximately 6 feet from Brewer Drive to Market Street. Eight inches will be dug out in the widening areas. There will be 6 inches of stone and compact roll and then 2 inches of asphalt and compact roll will be laid. For the section of the road from 501 E. Main Street all the way to West Street, 2 inches of asphalt will be milled off and the roadway will be cleaned by hauling off all millings and debris. Low and bad areas will be wedged and leveled, and a tack coat will be applied before paving. Two inches of asphalt will be laid over the whole road including widened areas. The old head wall will be removed and the existing pipe that runs under the road from Brewer Drive to Borden Business Park Building will be dug up. The new head wall and R.C.P pipe from the ditch to the basin area at the building will be installed. For the section of the road from West Street to Daisy Hill Road, 2 inches of the road will be milled off. Tack coat will be sprayed before paving. Two inches of asphalt and compact rolls will be laid. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00AM - 4:00PM Prospective Bidders are encouraged to meet with the Project Manager/Town Development Coordinator, Brenna LaDuke, prior to bidding. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities and further reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each BIDDER must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Each BIDDER must complete and submit with BID Indiana Form 96 inclusive of Non-Collusion Affidavit (furnished by Bidder) Standard Questionnaire and Financial Statement and other required documents as required by Indiana law.
