Bidding Documents may be examined at City Hall in Holton, Kansas, at the Engineer's Office Major items of work - Realignment of the sanitary sewer collection system in- cluding a base bid of con- structing 3 new manholes, approximately 266 feet of bored 10" DR 17 DIPS HDPE, 112 of open trench 10" SDR 26 PVC, 122 feet of 18" SDR 26 PVC, removal of a manhole, repair of asphalt and grass surfacing, traffic control, and appurtenances. The date that the Bidding Documents are download- ed by the contractor will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be avail- able from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
