Renovation of a municipal facility in Ukiah, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Evaporative Cooling Unit Installation Services. Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, Scope of Work that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid. This IFB is open to all eligible firms and/or individuals that meet the qualification requirements. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from March 1, 2025 through February 28, 2026. CHP reserves the right to do any of the following up to the bid submission deadline. Question Deadline 01/27/2025 at 10:00 AM PT Bidders shall submit questions via email to Ms. Tessa Gomez at tegomez@chp.ca.gov SCOPE OF WORK 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Ukiah Area office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide installation of a roof mount evaporative cooling unit as set forth in this Agreement. A. License Requirement/Certification: Contractor must possess a valid General B OR C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor with a C10 Electrical Contractor, California Contractor's State License Board Specialty License OR C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor with a C-10 Electrical subcontractor. B. Contractor shall provide a Payment Bond equal to 100 percent of the value of the Agreement. Contractor shall complete State of California Standard 807, in duplicate, and submit prior to execution of Agreement. 2. The services shall be performed at: Department of California Highway Patrol Ukiah Area office 540 South Orchard Avenue Ukiah, CA 95482
