Mendocino County is seeking sealed bids from California licensed general building (B) contractors to complete the Juvenile Hall A & B Wing Counselor Station Modification Project per the attached plans and specifications. For technical and procedural inquiries contact: Kirk Viera, Facilities Project Specialist vierak@mendocinocounty.gov 707-380-3223 CSLB License Code: General B License Description: General Building Payment and Performance Bonds are required for any Contracts in excess of $25,000. Any proposal in excess of this amount shall include these bonds. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder complying with the instructions set forth on this RFB form, provided the bid is deemed reasonable and in the best interest of the County of Mendocino. Bidder agrees to commence work on or before a date to be specified and to fully complete the project within Sixty (60) calendar days. Remove Chain-link fencing above the windows of two counselor stations in wings A and B. Make site preparations for installation of new replacement products. Install 1' x1' felt panels over 5/8 CDX plywood per attached plans and specifications. o All contractors, sub-contractors, and installers are required to pass a security clearance before they are allowed to work inside the Juvenile Hall. Question Deadline 03/24/2025 Addenda will be issued by the County, as required, to clarify the bidding documents and in response to bidder's questions.
