This project provides for the replacement of the New Cumberland Maintenance Facility complex on the current Maintenance site and adjacent wooded area to the East. The site is on the Eastbound side of the Turnpike (I-76) at Milepost 243.80, and North of Marsh Run Road. The maintenance facility includes construction of buildings and all associated site and supportive work as follows: (1) Building No. 1 to house section Maintenance and District 3 Offices - 26,400 GSF (2) Building No. 2 to house truck and equipment storage - 28,260 GSF (3) Building No. 3, Salt Shed - 11,200 GSF (4) Building No. 4, Mix Shed - 2,580 GSF (5) Building No. 5, a weather canopy for Fuel Station - 1,390 GSF Cost Range: $5,000,000.00 - $10,000,000.00 An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security of the three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract. (The normal time for execution of the contract is approximately four [4] weeks.) *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. PLUMBING CONTRACT A. Work of the Plumbing Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Plumbing fixtures. 2. Domestic (potable and non-potable) water distribution. 3. Propane, sanitary waste, vent, and storm water piping inside building to five (5) feet outside of the building, including and all preformed trench drains, etc. 4. Lubrication / Fluids and Compressed Air piping and connections to equipment provided. 5. Fire suppression systems including delegated design as defined in DIVISION 21. 6. Plumbing connections to equipment furnished by other Contracts. 7. All DIVISION 22 Sections except: Section 22 62 00 (Facility Fuel Oil System) and
