Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Stanton, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

MAISD requires the services and expertise of a contractor for the Project, which shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and services necessary to complete the Project, including but not limited to the following: Site Grading Approximately 339 Feet of Storm Sewer Removal of existing parking lot, concrete walks, concrete curbs and other items as shown on the removal plan. Parking Lot Improvements: sand subbase, aggregate base, paving, curb & gutter, sidewalks, pavement striping, and signage Topsoil, turf restoration, soil erosion controls, and site work. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Preferred candidates shall be firms licensed in the state where the Project is located, with extensive experience in projects of the type set forth herein. The Work to be performed under the Contract will be financed and paid for with local funds Time is of the essence in construction of the Project. Construction may commence no sooner than May 27, 2025. The Substantial Completion Date shall be June 20, 2025 and all work must be completed by the Final Completion Date on July 3, 2025. A bid bond of an approved surety duly licensed and authorized to conduct business in Michigan, certified check, or cashier's check payable to MAISD in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid price shall accompany each Bid. This surety shall bind the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of such Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in a Bid, and to negotiate contract terms that are in the Owner's best interest. All Bidders must agree that these actions shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim brought by a Bidder because of such actions, nor shall a Bidder seek any recourse of any kind against the Owner. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving Bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) days thereafter.
